The Passenger by Ulrich Alexander Boschwitz

A well-written, compelling story of a Jewish man trying not to be noticed in 1930’s Nazi Germany. If you’re in a serious mood about man’s inhumanity to other men because of their ‘category’, a group deemed unworthy to live freely by media and government, then you’ll be glued to this book like I was. With wisdom beyond his years, the author wrote it when he was only in his twenties. His book was rediscovered and published in 2021, an unbelievably timely year.
